Christening -Baptism

At All Saints we enjoy welcoming families who wish to bring their Child to be Baptised into the Christian Faith.

Baptisms sometimes known as Christenings can take place as part of the main Sunday service where your family and Child will be welcomed by the Worshipping community at All Saints. There is also a possibility of having a seperate service outside of the main sunday service. Either way the service of Baptism is a very special service for your Child and your family.

If you would like to discuss Having your Child Baptised then contact Rev. Andrew Jackson-Parr here. There is a lot of information about having your Child Baptised on the Church of England Christenings Website

If you are an adult or the parent of an older child who is seeking to make a commitment to the Chistian Faith then, if not already, being Baptised can be a wonderful occasion on your journey of Faith. this is usually offered during a service of confirmation If you have already been Baptised but wish to make a commitment to your Faith and Relationship with God then Confirmation can be a public way of doing this, whilst being supported bu your family and the Faith community. There are regular opportunities throughout the year for Confirmation, with “Classes” to help you preapre to make that commitment. These classes help prayerfully examine the Christian Faith and your relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Contact us for more information
